We Inspire launches a new website for Hubbard House

Posted by: Emily Rawitsch on Wednesday February 2, 2011

With the We Inspire Grant coming to a close, we are excited to launch the new logo and website for Hubbard House, the domestic violence center serving Duval and Baker counties in Jacksonville, Florida.

The new logo, which changed from teal to purple, aligns Hubbard House with the national color of domestic violence awareness. This minor tweak makes a major difference, as it creates a consistent voice for all organizations working toward the same cause.

The goal for the new website was to make it easier to use and maintain. At first glance, many visitors will notice a modern face-lift, yet the real changes go deeper than that. The website’s architecture is reorganized to make the user experience more intuitive. We also implemented a content management system so Hubbard House can make future updates without hiring a web programmer. Hubbard House can easily login to a secure back-end system to edit copy, news articles, event announcements and images.

In the end, we used design to inspire change, education and awareness.
